The rules, limitations and risk notes that govern use of OnTheRice.
Acceptance
By using OnTheRice, you agree to these terms. Do not use the service if you do not agree.
Information only
The reports do not provide financial, investment, legal, medical, tax or other professional advice. Users remain responsible for their own decisions.
AI and accuracy
AI-assisted reports can be incomplete, old or wrong. Scores use the evidence available when the report is made. They do not promise any result.
account services subscriptions
account services is one recurring membership offered through a Stripe-hosted three-day trial. Stripe shows the exact recurring price, billing interval and first payment date before confirmation. Unless cancelled, the trial becomes a paid recurring membership after three days. account services access begins only after a verified Stripe event confirms the subscription.
Renewal and cancellation
A Stripe subscription renews automatically until cancelled. Members can open the Stripe customer portal from Membership controls to view invoices, update payment details or cancel. When cancellation is scheduled for the end of a paid period, access continues until the displayed access-end date. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
Apple subscriptions
If a subscription is purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system, Apple processes the payment and manages renewal or cancellation. Apple subscriptions can be managed in the device's Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting an OnTheRice account does not automatically cancel an Apple-billed subscription.
Account deletion
A user may initiate account deletion from the app when the control is available or follow the published account-deletion instructions. Associated personal data is removed unless a limited record must be retained for legal, security, payment or dispute purposes.
Payment failure
A failed renewal can place membership into a short grace state and then pause access. Restoring payment through Stripe can restore access after a verified payment event. Permanent owner benefits are not billed and are not changed by Stripe events.
Private services
Any private client service is agreed directly with the client and is governed by the published private-data policy and data-processing agreement.
User conduct
Do not abuse, copy at scale, take apart, overload or unfairly change the service. Do not manipulate rankings, votes, rewards or balances.
Other websites
Evidence links may open websites run by other groups. OnTheRice does not control their content, access or rules.
Availability
Features may change, pause or end. If you keep using the service after a terms update, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
Singapore law governs these terms. Local consumer law may apply when it must be followed.
