OnTheRice uses six checking steps. It finds public facts, checks the sources, works out the meaning and ranks the strongest items. It then tests the locked report against later events.

Look for separate sources that support the same idea. Agreement helps, but it is not required.

Keep the morning report locked. Compare it with later market facts in a separate update.

- Call confidence a guarantee.
- Let one AI model publish alone.
- Hide evidence that disagrees.
- Rewrite a locked call after the market moves.
- Treat online popularity as proof by itself.

How an OTR prediction is frozen and checked
- Freeze the original prediction. Instrument, full name, direction, entry print, publication time, deadline and source are saved before the later result is known.
- Keep later evidence separate. Public prices and source-timed headlines may explain what followed; they cannot redraw the original direction or entry.
- Grade only at the stated check. A move with the locked direction is a hit; a move against it is a miss. Pending and unverifiable rows do not become wins by omission.
- Preserve the prediction record. The ledger remains the score authority. Learning can improve future release rules but cannot rewrite a historical result.
