How this score is counted

21 correct out of 24 resolved calls. Accuracy = hits ÷ (hits + misses).

89 pending · 1 unverifiable · 20 cancelled at market close

Current testing cohort only. Pending, unverifiable, withdrawn and cancelled calls are excluded from accuracy.

Market closed at deadline: horizon assessment cancelled and excluded from prediction statistics. 20 separate horizon checks are outside scored and pending totals; their post-deadline observations remain retained separately.

How OTR finds a signal

From a changing world to a checked result.

  1. Search the world

    Find what is changing.

  2. Check the evidence

    Check sources and facts.

  3. Connect the dots

    Link related changes.

  4. Study market moves

    Compare past price patterns.

  5. Use OTR’s memory

    Read earlier calls and results.

  6. Build the signal

    Weigh evidence and risks.

  7. Lock the call

    Set price, direction and deadline.

  8. Check the result

    Compare start and end prices.

    • BULLISH + price up = HIT
    • BULLISH + price down = MISS
    • BEARISH + price down = HIT
    • BEARISH + price up = MISS

    Accuracy = Hits ÷ (Hits + Misses)

Pending results do not affect accuracy.

  9. Learn again

Add the result to our memory.

1. Search the world

OTR searches global sources, including news, governments, companies, markets, research, technology and social platforms.

Goal: spot important changes early.

2. Check the evidence

OTR checks sources, timing and supporting evidence. Duplicates are grouped together. Conflicting evidence is actively searched for.

Goal: separate evidence from noise.

3. Connect the dots

OTR links events across: Event → Company → Industry → Market → Asset. It combines clues to find emerging changes.

4. Learn market behaviour

OTR studies past and recent graph moves across timeframes: rises, falls, momentum, reversals, volatility, breakouts and recoveries. It compares today with history.

5. Use OTR’s memory

Before publishing, OTR refreshes recorded results and relevant lessons. Earlier hits and misses are compared with the new evidence. Supplied references and other evidence limits stay visible.

6. Build the signal

OTR combines research, evidence, connections, market patterns and recorded history. It checks opposing evidence and whether prices have already reacted. Then it forms a signal.

7. Make and lock the call

OTR predicts BULLISH or BEARISH for a set period, such as 24H, 48H or 72H. The starting price, direction and deadline are locked after publishing.

8. Check the result

Compare the starting and final price when time is up.

  • BULLISH + price up = HIT
  • BULLISH + price down = MISS
  • BEARISH + price down = HIT
  • BEARISH + price up = MISS

Accuracy = Hits ÷ (Hits + Misses)

Pending results do not affect accuracy.

Hits: 21Misses: 3Accuracy: 87.50%Selected cohort · 24 resolved · withdrawn and cancelled calls excluded
How results are counted

An unchanged price is a MISS. Missing verified prices stay unverified.

9. Learn again

Each recorded HIT and MISS automatically joins OTR’s learning record. Comparable results can adjust the next estimate, with weaker evidence given less weight. Original calls stay fixed. Later outcomes test whether the change helped; better accuracy is not yet established.

WHY I BUILT OTR

A clearer world. For everyone.

I’m Faheem, the founder of OnTheRice. I built OTR around a simple belief: understanding the world should not depend on your education, income or who you know. Everyday people deserve useful intelligence, explained in words they can actually use.

There is no shortage of news. The hard part is seeing how separate events connect, spotting changes early, and knowing why they could matter to your life. OTR brings together news, market behaviour, past patterns and new data to ask: what is changing, why does it matter, and what could happen next?

I also believe that a prediction should come with responsibility. We show the evidence behind our calls, check the results, and keep both hits and misses visible. When we get something wrong, it should help us learn. Being clear about what we do not know matters too.

My purpose is to give more people a fair chance to understand change before it becomes obvious. Follow OTR to look beyond a headline, ask better questions and stay connected to that mission. Follow our founders to get to know the people building it.
